Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student at her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over three years. She lived off of a student allowance and took off on a part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other options she could pursue. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group broke up before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's talents show New Faces. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she formed the pop duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva which came out in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from early childhood. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera an album of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. First album of hers, Now I'm Letting You go... was released as an accompaniment to her installation of work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is an activist, philanthropist, and singer. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox started her own solo career, releasing her debut album Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was released in 1995, has the versions of a few of her most popular songs including The No MoreI Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has released six solo studio and compilation albums.
