Maureen Denise McCormick was born on 5 August 1956 in Woodland Hills California the youngest and only daughter of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. Her mother was at home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick was a talented singer and performer from the age of 6. Her passion was to put on shows with puppets for her neighbors. She won her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to join the show business. McCormick got her first big role when she got a part in the commercial for television that was broadcast in 1964 of Mattels latest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred for the firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly selected for The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick disclosed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year duration of the show. In 2008, she revealed in her book, Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that in season five of the show she almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams. The incident could have occurred, she stated, but the time was never right for us.
